Chapter 2 - When Truth Sometimes Hits Ya Pretty Hard
Everyday, I feel like it’s the same old things going on every single year. Especially during any holidays. There’s nothing new or anything like that or a hypothetical meteor falling in my life. It’s the same feeling almost every single day. Boredom. Seem times I get in trouble but that’s the most that happens each day. It may be on a school day or a Saturday or a Sunday but I get into trouble every week. Sometimes I think it’s because it’s the teachers or my parents who are retarded. But it’s also one of those moments where it’s another perspective in which I have to see before I open my month to talk back and fight for myself. Most of the times, I have to rely on lies just to get out of a situation but I’ll be honest; it takes years of practice to lie good and I hate lying. It’s just not me. It’s not like I have to lie to get out of every situation; it’s just one of those moments where you just can’t tell the truth. That’s what’s wrong with average teenagers today; we lie too much. We just don’t want to admit it cause we think it’s shameful. And trust me on this fact. Every single teenager’s tough task to do is that they have to tell the truth at some point. It might be that you’ve made a terrible mistake but every teen has to realize that at some point or another, they have to tell the ugly, bitter, harmful to ears, heartbreaking, killing truth. And in some cases, the parents or teachers don’t care and those are the kind of parents who spoil their kids. But in most cases, parents and teachers will appreciate you more if you tell the truth. It may not be easy and trust me, it never is, but you have o. No matter what, the truth has to come out of your lying, dirty mouth. Lying is a small part of me. But like a bank robbery or a political election, lying does its thing when it needs to. And I don’t blame anyone for that. Its a natural thing for humans. And sometimes, it is the right thing to do. But, it’s never the best thing to do. A very good example of a character who lies a lot to get laid is Barney Stinson from the American TV show, “How I Met Your Mother”. He practically lies about his entire life to have a one night stand with other beautiful, hot, gorgeous and mostly stupid girls. But a very good example of why you should always tell the truth to people is in the shows CSI, CSI NY and CSI Miami. What I just stated is biased, granted. But it’s also true. Even though this is a one person view, the shows show a very good example of why your life should be an open book.
